JACKSBORO, TN (WLAF)- CASA of Campbell County is hosting its fourth annual holiday food drive for Open Arms Ministry Food Bank, now through November 30th.

According to CASA Executive Director Jan Jones, CASA does this each year as a way to give back to the community.

Food bank volunteers said it is donations like these that make Christmas brighter for those in need during the holiday season.

“Having a food drive benefit Open Arms Ministry ties back in with my CASA program and helps the community,” Jones said.

The food drive has multiple local businesses, churches and organizations volunteering with food donation boxes at their locations.

“We are so very thankful for Campbell County businesses who allow us to place the donation boxes at their locations, and help us in supporting Open Arms Ministry Food Pantry. As the pantry sees the number of individuals they serve rise from week to week this is where we can help as a community.  Whether it be one item or ten items anything helps. If you are able, please stop at one of our drop off locations listed and help feed those needing our help during this time,” Jones said.

Food drop off locations include: Community Trust Bank –  Downtown Office,  Citizens Bank, ORNL Federal Credit Union, Linda Kilgore -State Farm Insurance, Peoples Bank of the South – Downtown Office, The Campbell County Mayor’s Office, United Cumberland Bank, CHET, Express Employment Professionals, Brittany Miller Foust-Campbell County Register of Deeds, Victory Baptist Church and Katie’s Restaurant.
