There’s still time to make a difference by donating to CASA’s food drive

JACKSBORO, TN (WLAF)- CASA of Campbell County is hosting its fourth annual holiday food drive for Open Arms Ministry Food Bank, now through January 2nd.

According to CASA Executive Director Jan Jones, CASA does this each year as a way to give back to the community.

Food bank volunteers said it is donations like these that make Christmas brighter for those in need this holiday season.

“Having a food drive to benefit Open Arms Ministry ties back in with my CASA program and helps the community,” Jones said.

CASA of Campbell County is hosting its 4th annual food drive for Open Arms Ministry. 

The food drive began December 9th and runs through the new year with multiple local businesses, churches and organizations volunteering to set up food donation boxes at their locations.

“We are so very thankful for Campbell County businesses who allow us to place the donation boxes at their locations,” Jones said.

Food drop off locations include: Builtwell Bank in LaFollette, Katies, C& L Furniture, Register of Deeds Brittany Miller’s office, Hazels, Black Bear, CVS, Citizens Bank, CVS Pharmacy, ORNL Federal Credit Union, Y-12, Peoples Bank of the South in LaFollette and across from Woodson’s Mall, Community Trust Bank-both locations, Smith ACE Hardware, State Farm Agent Linda Kilgore’s office and at the CASA office in Jacksboro.
