I-75 traffic snarled Friday night due to truck fire between Exits 134 and 141

Campbell County had its own version of the Northern Lights Friday night on I-75 as firefighters fought a truck fire.

CARYVILLE, TN (WLAF) – A truck fire shut down two lanes of Interstate 75 in Campbell County on Friday night.

Just after 9pm, a box truck caught fire after it became stuck trying to turn around on I-75 at Mile Marker 139, between Exits 134 and 141, according to officials.

Caryville Volunteer Fire and La Follette Fire Departments along with the Campbell County Rural Fire Service answered the 9:15pm call. Other agencies, the Campbell County Sheriff’s and Emergency Management Agency along with the Tennessee Highway Patrol responded.
