A bicycle rider survives encounter with a car

The rider of a bicycle that collided with a car is being checked out by medical personnel with Campbell EMS and LFD First Responders.

LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF)- “There was some miscommunication here between the driver of the car and the bike rider,” said one official. Not long after 10am on Thanksgiving, a Hyundai sedan and a bicycle collided along the four lane at Ridenour Lane.

The rider of the bicycle, a young male, suffered minor injuries in the incident.

The rider of this bicycle escaped serious injury on Thursday morning.
