CAMPBELL COUNTY, TN. (WLAF)- Last week, news broke of a 600 home development in the Shanghai community. WLAF wanted to know your opinion. The overwhelming majority of votes said no to ‘Elk Stone at Lake Norris.’

Those taking part in the survey could only vote once.

  1. I didn’t know about the voting but I would have voted no as well. We live just above it and it’s already a struggle to maneuver the twisty roads with the current traffic. Can’t imagine there being more. Many of the roads are already in need of repair and adding more traffic would degrade them even more.

  2. Need to grow the area..that’s how roads get repaired and community’s grow.its going to happen eventually so why not now…need more restaurants and things to do in town..
