Orange-n-Blue Nation well represented at Smoky Mountain Championship – Cheer

Campbell County was well represented at Saturday’s cheer competition at Sevierville.

SEVIERVILLE, TN (WLAF)- It was a full day on Saturday for the Campbell County High School Cheerleaders as they competed in the annual Smoky Mountain Championship – Cheer. The event is sanctioned by the Universal Cheer Association (UCA) and the Universal Dance Association (UDA).

The Sevierville Convention Center once again hosted the two day event, Saturday and Sunday. It was Campbell’s second competition in less than a month.

Campbell Cheer competed in the Medium Varsity, Non-tumbling Game Day Division along with six other squads finishing 4th out of the seven team category. In all, nearly 100 teams began competition just before 7:30am. Campbell’s team arrived at 11am for its 2:07pm performance time.

Cougar Cheer qualified for the national competition.
