TSSAA dead period is the weeks of June 24 and July 1

JACKSBORO, TN (WLAF) – It’s that time of year; a time that features the last June practices before the mandated two-week period without sports activities known as the TSSAA dead period.

For basketball, this means numerous practices and scrimmages. Both the Campbell Lady Cougars and Cougars are taking part in various play days and scrimmages this month.

The Cougars’ coaching duo of Ernie Mac and Brandon Clawson begins its 5th season at CCHS; while Jason Kitts is in his fourth year at the helm of the Lady Cougar program.
