LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF)- Tonight on Jake Miller Sports Talk from six to 8 over WLAF, football season is getting closer and closer as your Campbell County Cougars travel to Jefferson City. On Carson-Newman’s Roy Harmon Field, the Cougars will take on the CAK Warriors.

The Orange-n-Blue will play its two quarters around 8:30pm Thursday with a running clock in the second quarter. It marks the final scrimmage before regular season play kicks off next Friday at Lenoir City.

Also, LMU Director of Media Relations John Dunn will join the show at 6:20pm to discuss what the season holds for the Tennessee Volunteers and the LMU Railsplitters.

As always, calls are welcome at 423.562.1450 as we discuss the future of the Norris Lake Sports Complex and whether that will remain privately owned or the Campbell County Board of Education will place its bid to acquire the facility.
