The Town of Jacksboro Board of Mayor and Aldermen hold Monday afternoon meeting

JACKSBORO, TN (WLAF)- On Monday afternoon, in less than five minutes, without Alderman Greg Cross and Alderman Mark Lay present, The Town of Jacksboro Board of Mayor and Aldermen met in a special called meeting for a second reading of Ordinance No. 136.

The ordinance adopts the annual operating budget and tax rate for the fiscal year 2025-26. The first reading of the ordinance was held on June 9.

The town’s projected budget is $1,948,014 for the upcoming fiscal year. The expected revenue for the town is $2,140,691.
