JACKSBORO, TN (WLAF)- Brooks is a beautiful little mix of Corgi, Chow and some other wonderful breeds. She has a light brown cinnamon coat with the cutest miniature legs and an amazing purple tongue.  Brooks struggles with shelter life because she is a pint sized lady with a big heart but is scared.

Brooks has started to blossom now that she is safe at the Campbell County Animal Shelter. The remarkable staff has worked with her to gain her trust and it is working.  Brooks just needs time, a quiet place to rest her head and see that she is beautiful inside and out. Brooks is a confident little lady and once she sees you are kind, and offer treats, she will be in your lap and kissing your face. Is there a better reward in life than showing an animal that a human can be trusted and will shower them with love, The return of admiration and loyalty is priceless.

Brooks is approximately four to five years old and weighs around 29 pounds. Her coat requires brushing but doesn’t take much because of her size. Brooks enjoys walks and smelling the fresh air. She reminds you of a proper English woman preparing for her afternoon tea, would love a fluffy bed and her kryptonite is Vienna Sausages. She is so gentle taking her treats and savors every bite. Please go and meet this sweetheart.

The adoption center, animal shelter, is open Tuesday – Saturday, noon – 5:30pm, at 749 Towe String Road, Jacksboro, next to the convenience center. The center’s telephone number is 423-566-8018.
