Large turnout gathered on the courthouse steps

JACKSBORO, TN (WLAF)- Campbell County Mayor Jack Lynch invited folks out to wear their pink on Friday to help raise awareness for breast cancer.

“We’re very proud to join our community in honoring the incredible strength and courage of breast cancer survivors during breast cancer awareness month. Their stories inspire us every day and remind us of the power of hope and community support,” said Sara Lloyd, Chief Operating Officer of Tennova Healthcare – La Follette Medical Center.

This Pink October, let us all stand together in the fight against breast cancer. Spread love, hope and awareness!

Campbell County Mayor Jack Lynch and all Campbell County government employees invite you to join us, along with our healthcare partners at Tennova Medical Center, in remembering that early detection and treatment are the best course of action.

The front steps of the courthouse were full of pink clad people as the sun shined for WLAF’s Charlie Hutson to snap their photo.
