All bridge repair work is expected to be completed on or before 6 am on Sat., Aug. 23.

After the refurbishment of the Vasper Hollow Bridges in the spring of 2025, most regular travelers of I-75 in Campbell County figured crews were through with the project. However, a large pot hole has developed in the right lane of the northbound side of the bridge, and it needs repair along with some other areas on the two bridges. 1. Looks like TDOT needs to hire someone that can actually do the job they have paid someone to do now for the 2nd or 3rd time now

    1. They need to put up a sign on the interstate that Hwy 116 is for local traffic ONLY. Hwy 116 roads is so bad with potholes and roughness. Plus this will keep the accidents down and keep those tractor trailers off hwy 116 that backs the traffic up because they can’t keep up with the speed limit. TDOT has the right to put the sign up or the city of Caryville also has the right as well.

      1. Pothole appeared not long after it was resurfaced. That’s what happens when the asphalt layer is too thin!
