BOE approves a Master Service Agreement between Navigate360 and the BOE

JACKSBORO, TN (WLAF)- The Campbell County Board of Education held a brief meeting Tuesday afternoon, approving multiple Campbell County Board of Education policies on the first reading, among other “first of the year” business items.

School Board Chairman Jeffrey Miller, and School Director Jennifer Fields at Tuesday’s BOE meeting. Director Fields reported that the renovation to the high school weight room was near complete and athletes would soon be using the renovated facility.

This is done each school year as policies are updated and changed. Multiple policies were approved, including those relating to school board members, school student records, records request forms, surplus property sales, news and information website for legal notices, emergency preparedness plan, threat assessment team, operations of threat assessment team, Instructional program, virtual education program, remote instruction, hybrid learning, interscholastics, athletics, library materials, use of internet, reporting student progress, personnel goals, compensation guides and contracts, employment of retirees, employment options for retirees, family and medical leave, discrimination/harassment of employees (sexual, racial, ethnic, religious), substitute teachers, attendance, released time course providers, questioning students and searches, searches by school personnel, student discrimination, harassment, bullying, cyber bullying, and intimidation, use of wireless communication devices, student wellness, student records, request for records transfer and finally, dress code.

In other business, the BOE also approved a Master Service Agreement between Navigate360, LLC. and the Campbell County Board of Education. Navigate360 provides easy-to-use technology, comprehensive training, and expert guidance to help you build your safe school now, according to its website.

At Tuesday’s BOE meeting, school board member Brandon Johnson, center, said he wanted meetings to resume being held in the downstairs courtroom, citing not enough room upstairs and issues with the audience being able to hear the meetings. Also pictured, BOE members Ryne Cummins and Jamie Wheeler.

Several contracts with Grace Rehabilitation Services were also approved, one for occupational and speech therapy services, and three others for speech therapy at Jellico Elementary School, Jacksboro Elementary School and Caryville Elementary School.

A service agreement between Ridgeview Behavioral Health STAR Services and Campbell County BOE was approved.

Also approved by the BOE on Tuesday was the 2025-2026 School Bus contract.

The Board of Education approved the donation of a 2015 Ford 650 box truck to the School Nutrition Department to haul and distribute food and meals for the School Nutrition Department. (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED-07/09/2025-6AM)
