Saturday was an ideal weather day for the grand opening of the all new Blue Hippo Car Wash

LAFOLLETTE, TN. (WLAF)- The Blue Hippo Car Wash is officially open.

Campbell County’s premier car wash, right behind the Pizza Hut on Jacksboro Pike, hosted its grand opening on Saturday. The hours of operation are everyday from 8am until 8pm.

There were food trucks and a special cruise in of classic cars.

Just in case you weren’t able to make it out on Saturday, the staff at The Blue Hippo Car invites you to come by this week and see the area’s largest tunnel, which is 145 feet long.

Using a belt technology, cars do not have to center on a rail to go through the wash. This means low profile tires and duallys can go through The Blue Hippo Car Wash.

The Hippo also features wide turns for easy in and out of the wash.
