Black ice blamed on early Friday morning wreck

Driver was able to walk away from the scene

LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF)- A young Campbell County man on his way to work traveling Davis Creek Road hit a patch of black ice around 6am Friday and went 30-feet over an  embankment into Davis Creek. 

He fortunately walked away from the scene OK.  This happened on the Woodson Gap side of White Oak. (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED-01/30/2026-6AM)
