Billy Joe “Bill” LeMarr, age 76 of Jacksboro, passed away on Thursday, June 20, 2024, at his home. He was born on December 25, 1947, to the late Euing “Bud” LeMarr and Vireta (McNeil) LeMarr. Bill was a member Elm Grove Baptist Church who loved laying in the floor watching TV, carpentry, and was a jack of all trades. He also worked 27 years with CSX Railroad and was a Vietnam Army Veteran. Bills favorite thing was being at home with his family, especially his grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his son Benjamin Joseph LeMarr; brother David LeMarr; son-in-law Carson Hall; and father and mother-in-law Bennie and Mary Angel.

Bill is survived by his loving wife of 57 years Pamela LeMarr of Jacksboro; daughter Billie C. Hall of LaFollette; brother Steve “Cooter” LeMarr and wife Jackie of LaFollette; grandchildren Sarah Napier and husband Jimmie of Oak Ridge, Jacob Hall and wife Mackenzie of LaFollette, and Seth Hall of LaFollette; great grandchildren Jayce Napier, Benjamin Carson Hall, and one on the way Ellie Sophia Hall; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be from 10:00-11:00 AM on Tuesday, June 25, 2024, in the Chapel of Martin Wilson Funeral Home (305 East Beech Street, LaFollette) with the funeral service to follow at 11:00 AM. Interment to follow the funeral service at Flat Hollow Cemetery.
