Billy Horace Williford, age 79 of Duff, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, October 21, 2025, at his home. He was born on November 16, 1945, to the late Horace Williford and Nancy “Norton” Williford. He was a loving husband of 53 years, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather who enjoyed going to Church. Billy was a deacon of Victory Baptist Church for over 40 years and also attended New Freedom Baptist Church. He also loved working in his garden, going hunting, fishing, spending time with his family, and working at A&S for over 25 years. Billy loved God, his family, and his friends very much.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his loving wife Linda Williford, brother Willie Williford, and his sisters Lucinda Johnson and Flossie Brummitt.

Billy is survived by his son James Williford and wife Mary of Duff; daughter Angela Saylor and husband David of Greenville, TN; sister Rosie Nash; grandchildren Tyler, Rachel, Haley, Samantha, Rex, and Lynleigh; special friends Gary and wife Yvonne Shears and Howard and Retha Goins; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be from 5:00-7:00 PM on Wednesday, October 22, 2025, in the chapel of Martin Wilson Funeral Home, with the funeral to follow at 7:00 PM with Rev. Kenny Allen and David Carroll officiating. Family and friends will meet at 10:00 AM on Thursday, October 23, 2025, to go in a funeral procession to Victory Cemetery for an 11:00 AM interment.
