Billie Jean York Wright-Loving Wife-Mother & Woman of Faith left this worldly place early Thursday morning, May 23, 2024 to be with God in her heavenly home as promised. She and her deceased husband, Robert Wright, raised two children with love, Doris Wright Gossett and Robert/Bob Michael Wright. Billie was born October 29, 1929 & grew up in Morley, Tn and was on earth almost 95 years. She and Robert were very involved with their grandchildren, giving much love, caring and guidance to them throughout their lives for which they all feel very blessed to have and know the love of Grandparents. Billie was employed at Imperial Reading Shirt Factory until retirement. After she retired, she didn’t stop. She began to care for little ones for numerous families in the community. She had a passion for collecting dolls, which were on display in almost every room. In her residency at the nursing home family, visitors, nurses and staff would always ensure she had the comfort of a doll in bed with her. While Billie was still able to attend her church, Fundamental Missionary Baptist, she was one of the first to enter anytime the door was open. She used and thanked God with such heart felt love for her gift he blessed her with, which was music, playing piano and organ.
