Billie Ann Sharp Kincaid, age 89, of LaFollette

Mrs. Billie Ann Sharp Kincaid, age 89, of LaFollette, Tennessee, passed away peacefully on January 26, 2026, surrounded by her friends and family. She was born on June 30, 1936, to the late W. H. Sharp and Gena Sharp.

A woman of deep faith, Billie was a lifelong and devoted member of First Presbyterian Church of LaFollette, where her service, worship, and commitment to her church family remained central throughout her life.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, William R. “Bill” Kincaid; her son, John Boyd Kincaid; her parents, W. L. Sharp, Jr. and Gena Sharp; and her sister, Mary Jane Sharp.

She is survived by her devoted sons, William L. “Bill” Kincaid and wife Shawn, and Barry Kincaid and wife Jan. She also leaves behind her cherished grandchildren: Brandi McGee and husband Daniel, Abbi Kincaid, Leah Kincaid, Carsyn Kincaid, Lisa Allen and husband Paul Coker, and Michael Allen and wife Maggie. She was a proud and loving great-grandmother to Norah, Miles, Brighton, Katie, James, John David, Fynn, Wren, Magnolia, and Felix.

Billie was deeply devoted to her family and always made them her highest priority. Her grandchildren and great-grandchildren were the greatest joys of her life, and she poured endless love, encouragement, and care into each of them.

Active in both church and community, Billie had a lifelong love for gardening and was a devoted member of the Town and Country Garden Club. She also loved watching sports and was a devoted fan of her Tennessee Volunteers, faithfully cheering them on and celebrating every win. She served her community as the society editor for The LaFollette Press, where she delighted in sharing stories and celebrating local life.

Known for her grace, kindness, and warm spirit, Billie touched countless lives and will be remembered for her unwavering love, faith, and dedication to family and community.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, January 31, 2026 from 12:00 – 1:00 PM at First Presbyterian Church of LaFollette (110 West Ash St., LaFollette, TN 37766). Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM with Rev. Sam Schaus officiating. Interment will follow at Fincastle Cemetery.
