The La Follette All-Stars look to keep shining as tournament action resumes tonight at Bean Station.
LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF) – La Follette’s latest version of the Boys of Summer is back in action tonight in All-Star post season play. The 8 and under coach pitch La Follette All-Stars are 2 & 0 in the Bean Station All-Star Tournament and play this evening at six o’clock.
La Follette’s wins have come over Harrogate and New Tazewell, and tonight’s opponent is against the host team, Mooresburg/Bean Station-Hancock County team (MBSHC). A win vaults La Follette into the districts at Maryville.
Should La Follette fall in its Tuesday game, it would advance to the championship game on the loser bracket side. A win in that bracket would also advance La Follette.

Robby Allen and Chevy Evans along with former Cougar Justin Wilson are coaching this group of All-Stars. Wilson’s father, Hot Rod Wilson, was a member of the 1965 La Follette Little League All-Star State Championship team. (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED – 06/18/2024-6AM)
