CARYVILLE, TN (WLAF) – Soon after 7am Thursday, a big rig ended up stuck in the median on I-75 near the Caryville interchange, Mile Marker 134.

As a result, the non-injury accident backed up southbound traffic for miles and for hours. Southbound travelers from the Caryville exit north faced slow moving as rolling roadblocks were used while the rig was being moved.

Around 6:30am, there was a single-vehicle wreck that ended up off the road a mile south of the Caryville interchange at Mile Marker 133 on I-75 southbound. Though the car was out of the road, debris was scattered across the interstate.

There was a Thursday morning accident with injury on the four lane. A little before 10am, two vehicles collided as air bags deployed in front of Big O’s Cumberland on the Jacksboro bound side. Traffic was funneled down to one lane for the better part of an hour. (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED – 05/09/2024-6AM)
