LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF) – What a treat to see 13 -year- old Bella Sampieri and her bright smile walk through the door at WLAF on Monday afternoon. Her entrance marks the beginning of her internship at the old radio station, and like youth often times does, Bella’s mere presence provided a shot of excitement to the rest of the staff.

Bella impressed us all her first time behind the mic recording a WLAF liner. The liner aired just moments later as she listened on her car radio hearing herself for the first time on the radio.

Bella slipped out to the family car to hear her voice on the radio for the very first time. She’d just recorded a liner for WLAF, and her mom, Jamie, captured Bella’s reaction.

It just so happened that WLAF’s Charlie Hutson was at the station snapping photos of Bella’s inaugural visit and shares his photo gallery.

Welcome aboard, Bella. Break a leg. (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED – 06/25/2024-6AM)

  1. Bella, they are a great group. You’ll learn a lot and it will make speaking in public much easier.
