Mrs. Audrey Fay (Richardson) Smithers, age 81, of Caryville, TN passed away Tuesday, June 4, 2024 surrounded by family. She was born on November 16, 1942. She was a Christian of the Baptist Faith. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, who enjoyed time with family and friends. She enjoyed gospel music, singing through earlier years with family and listening to her brother Larry and group. Other enjoyments, her dog Molly was her world, sewing, food, shopping and cleanliness was her niche.

Daughter: Patricia Gale Wilson and husband Danny Wilson of LaFollette

Grandson: Eric Wilson and wife Kayla Wilson and children of LaFollette

Granddaughter: Kristy Wilson of LaFollette

Brothers: William Clyde Richardson and wife Judy of Caryville, Dennis Ray Richardson and wife Gail of LaFollette, Larry Daniel Richardson and wife Wanda of Caryville

The family will receive friends 5-7 PM Sunday, June 9, 2024, at Cross-Smith Funeral Home with funeral service to follow at 7 PM in Cross-Smith Chapel, Rev. David Goins and Rev. Frank Epperson. Family and friends will meet 10 AM Monday, June 10th at Fairview Cemetery in Scott County for Interment.
