Arnold “Arnie” George Artress, age 89 of LaFollette

Arnold “Arnie” George Artress, age 89 of LaFollette, passed away on Thursday, March 12, 2026, at LaFollette Medical Center, surrounded by his family. He was born on June 27, 1936. Arnie enjoyed fishing and bird watching.

He is preceded in death by his parents, wife Linda Kaye Artress, daughter Melissa Elizabeth Younce, and brother Dale Artress.

Arnie is survived by his grandson, Curtis Taylor Jr., and wife Whitney of Jacksboro, and their sons Dylan and Dallas; daughter Robin (Anderson) Cole of Michigan and her sons Brandon, Gage, and Dylan; sister Andra Sticher; and a host of other relatives and friends.

His wishes were to be cremated.

The family has entrusted the care of Arnold “Arnie” George Artress to Martin Wilson Funeral Home, “Where Families Matter Most.”
