The Campbell County Animal Shelter is closed to non-emergency intakes
JACKSBORO, TN (WLAF) – The Campbell County Animal Shelter is at critical capacity. The shelter currently is housing 170 animals, which is way over capacity. One of the dogs housed at the shelter named Cheech has just had a leg amputated and is recovering in a crate. He desperately needs a home or a foster home where he can recover.

Some say a three-legged dog brings good luck, and Cheech is just that dog.
If you can’t adopt a pet you can help by fostering, you can donate to the shelter, do laundry or dishes or participate in the Homeward Bound Program. The Homeward Bound program is where people can go and spend one-on-one time with the dogs, taking them out of the shelter for as much time as possible. The shelter is also offering name your price on adult dogs. The shelter is closed to non-emergency intakes.

Roxie is hungry for a home.
The adoption center is open Tuesday – Saturday, 12:00 – 5:30 PM at 749 Towe String Road, Jacksboro, next to the convenience center. The phone number is 423-566-8018.
