The late morning accident occurred near Norris Lake

This unit from the Campbell County Rural Fire Service was one of the responding units along with the sheriff’s office answering along with Campbell EMS to a forklift accident.

LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF)- First responders with the Campbell County Rural Fire Service were dispatched at 11:11am today to the call of a forklift accident. The accident occurred in the Norris Crest development near Heatherly’s Point at the end of Demory Road.

It appeared the forklift, the type used to deliver building materials, broke loose on an incline and rolled with the operator on it before it came to a rest, according to one official.

The accident happened at a lake house up the hill from Norris Lake.
