Amy Vanessa Pierce, age 43, fell asleep in death on Sunday, November 30th, 2025, at her home, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on February 22nd, 1982 in Knoxville, TN to her proud parents, Jimmie Lee Pierce and Ramona Atkins.

Amy had a very outgoing, bubbly personality whose presence has been described as lighting up the room. She loved all her family and friends very much and enjoyed the time spent with them playing cards, board games, singing karaoke and enjoying their association. Her favorite place to visit was the beach, with her toes in the sand, enjoying the beautiful waves of the ocean. One of her favorite titles was being the “fun” aunt to her nieces and nephews, who she was so proud of and brought a big smile to her face, even in her final days. She was a very intelligent lady who graduated as Salutatorian at Campbell County High School and progressed in her career to be a successful mortgage production manager at ORNL/7 Mortgage. Amy was baptized as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses at the young age of 13 and we eagerly await to see her again with no more sickness, pain or suffering.

Amy was preceded in death by her grandparents, Bruno & Grace Costanzo and Joe and Monnie Pierce and her father, Jimmie Lee Pierce, who called her his little princess.

She is survived by her mother, Ramona Atkins, brother Eric Pierce and wife Alicia, brother Jeremy Pierce & wife Carrie, brother Aaron Atkins, nieces Victoria & Tinsley Pierce, nephews Jonah, Jaxson & Braxton Pierce, fiancé David Carroll and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends who all loved her & will miss her very much.
