Afternoon wreck shakes up occupants, snarls traffic

Traffic was jammed up after this wreck at the Walmart traffic light.

JACKSBORO, TN (WLAF) – Two vehicles collided under the Walmart stop light on the Caryville bound side of the four lane just before 4pm Wednesday.

Both lanes were shut down and traffic was funneled down the emergency lane traveling through the Walmart parking lot to make its way around the wreckage.

Multiple agencies responded including Jacksboro Fire and Police, La Follette Police, Campbell EMS and Sheriff’s Office. (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED – 07/10/2024-5PM)
