Below freezing temperatures expected Wednesday night through lunch time Friday

LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF)- Get set for a week of winter weather as chilly sunshine highlights our Monday as highs struggle to reach the mid-40s. Monday’s low returns to the 20s at 25-degrees. Tuesday features a brisk day with sun and 52. Big changes to our weather develop Wednesday.- Accumulating snow is becoming more likely for Campbell County and much of the area Wednesday night and Thursday, especially across the higher elevations. Significant snow accumulations are possible especially across the higher terrain.
Wednesday night temperatures slide to 22 with rain changing to snow and potential accumulations of snow up to one inch with higher totals in the mountains of Campbell County. Thursday morning opens with snow ahead of a high of 29.
