LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF)- The call of an active overdose in progress sent La Follette Police and Fire first responders to a home on East Elm Street Tuesday afternoon.

La Follette Narcotic Detective Noah Riggs arrived to 706 East Elm Street at 4:37pm and found Elizabeth McNeeley in the bathroom floor unconscious, according to the LPD report. Riggs allegedly recovered an open needle in the bathroom.

More baggies were found in the make-up bags. There was a baggie containing a crystal-like substance with an approximate weight of 1.5 grams, including the baggie, the report states. “I tested the crystal-like substance with the TruNarc device, a handheld narcotics analyzer, with a positive result of meth,” stated Narcotic Detective Riggs.
