LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF)- On Rich Lane, a street that connects West Central Avenue and West Beech Street, the call of smoke coming from a home was called in to La Follette Dispatch.

The call of the fire came in around 3:15pm Tuesday.

Within a couple of minutes, firefighters with the La Follette Fire Department were on scene and verified the smoke. Smoke was seeping out from each side of the house on the second floor of the frame structure around 3:15pm Tuesday.

Three fire units responded.

Onlookers gathered on a grassy lot while firefighters suited up and entered the structure.
