Sue Comer, age 85, of Jacksboro

Sue Comer, age 85, of Jacksboro passed away on Thursday, July 30, 2026. She was a member of Long Hollow Baptist Church and recently attended Woodlake Baptist Church.

Sue worked many years at Imperial Reading and retired from Goody’s Clothing Store.

She was preceded in death by husband: Paul Comer, parents: Bill and Charlcie Monday Giles, sister: Betty Wilhoit, brothers: Billy, Jerry, Teddy and Danny Giles

Survived by

Daughter: Penni and husband Kennon Seal

Son: Ricky Comer

Grandchildren: David Stewart and Aamber

Brother: Bobby Joe Giles

Sister: Wanda Wilhoit

Daughter-in-law: Joan Comer

Several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.

Family will receive friends 5-7 PM Sunday, August 2, 2026 at Cross-Smith Funeral Home with Funeral Service to follow at 7 PM in Cross-Smith Chapel, Rev. Roger Hatmaker officiating. Family and friends will meet at 10 AM Monday and proceed to Sunrise Cemetery for 11 AM interment.
