Lenora “Lena” Teague, age 80 of LaFollette

Mrs. Lenora “Lena” Teague, age 80 of LaFollette passed away Wednesday, July 29, 2026. She was a loving wife, a devoted mother and grandmother, and a cherished friend. Lena loved gardening, cooking, bird watching, and reading. She was of the Baptist Faith. She is preceded in death by husband, Paul Michael Teague, parents, William and Nila (Morris) Rookard, and several brothers and sisters.

Survivors: Children, Hope Shaffer and husband, James, Larry Teague, David Teague, and Leah Teague; grandchildren, Jacob and Joshua Shaffer, Lindsey Poling, Kayland Leudeke, Emily Teague, Tori Magill, and Logan Schutte; several great-grandchildren; sisters, Shirley Johnson and Karla Prewitt; brother, Edison Rookard. Numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, August 4, 2026, from 12:30- 2:00 P.M. at Walters Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral Services will begin at 2:00 P.M. with Rev. Billy Smith officiating. Interment will follow at Lambdin Cemetery in the White Oak Community. Walters Funeral Home of LaFollette is honored to be serving the family of Mrs. Lenora “Lena” Teague.
