JACKSBORO, TN (WLAF)- On Tuesday morning, Campbell County Director of Schools Charlotte McCoy accepted a check for $119,810.

The check was for a grant McCoy applied for to do maintenance and construction projects at the schools.

The check was presented to McCoy by State Treasurer David H. Lillard, Jr.

The proceeds from the grant will be used to fix fencing at Campbell County High School, fix sidewalks at LaFollette Elementary School and install canopies where needed at area schools. (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED-07/15/2026-6AM)
