JACKSBORO, TN (SPECIAL TO WLAF)- Campbell County Schools is pleased to announce that Brad Collette has been named the new principal of Campbell County High School.

Collette brings nearly 25 years of experience in education to this role, including 14 years as a classroom teacher and more than 10 years in high school administration. He is beginning his 25th year in education and his 11th year as a school administrator. Throughout his career, Collette has served in administrative roles in Knox County at Hardin Valley Academy, in Anderson County at Clinton High School, and in Campbell County at Campbell County High School. He has also served as an athletic director for five years.

Collette holds an Education Specialist degree in Superintendency, a master’s degree in Instructional Leadership, and a bachelor’s degree in Business Management Education.

“I am honored to have the opportunity to serve as the next principal of Campbell County High School,” Collette said. “This community means a great deal to me, and I am excited to work with our students, staff, families, and community as we continue moving CCHS forward.”

As principal, Collette said his goal is to support all students and help prepare them for success beyond high school, whether they choose college, the military, trade school, or the workforce.

“I am excited to support all students attending Campbell County High School and help prepare them for whatever path they choose,” Collette said. “We want our students to have the knowledge and skills they need to be successful.”

Collette’s vision for Campbell County High School is to create a school environment where students are proud to attend, teachers feel supported and enjoy coming to work each day, parents feel welcomed, and the community is proud to call CCHS its high school.

“I believe that by working together and keeping students at the center of every decision we make, we can continue moving CCHS in a positive direction,” Collette said.

Collette and his wife live in Campbell County and have two children, Eva and Blake. His wife also serves as a Pre-K teacher in Campbell County Schools, and their family is deeply invested in the continued success and growth of the school system.

“My wife and I love this community and would not want to live anywhere else,” Collette said. “I look forward to this opportunity and do not take it lightly.”
