Billie Carter, of Lake City

Billie Carter, of Lake City, Tennessee passed away on June 17, 2026 at her residence. Billie was born May 18, 1952 in Anderson County, Tennessee to the late William Pruitt and Clotene Morgan. Billie worked at Modine Manufacturing for many years. Billie was a biker lady. She loved diamond art. She had a love for all plants including her very large cactuses she tended to. Billie was an avid NASCAR enthusiast who especially loved Jeff Gordon. She loved spending time with her grandkids- they were her world. She was Mamaw Billie to most and hillbilly to some. 

In addition to her parents, Billie is preceded in death by her son: James Beach, her pet cat, Skeeter whom she loved dearly, and her sisters: Terry Gadd, Teresa Melton, and Pat Woods.
