CARYVILLE, TN (WLAF)- In about fifteen minutes, the Town of Caryville Board of Mayor and Aldermen met in a special called session and approved the second reading of Ordinance 2026-08 adopting the annual operating budget for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 2026, and ending June 30, 2027.
Aldermen Pat Donuahue made the motion to pass the budget, with Aldermen Lloyd Lawson making the second. Aldermen Eric Jones, Donahue, and Lloyd Lawson voted yes on the budget, Mayor Beth Lawson and Aldermen Josh Monday voted no. Aldermen Jordan Cross and Aldermen Vickie Heatherly were absent from the meeting. The budget was approved.
The beer board met after the meeting and approved a beer permit for the Liquor Barn, 161 John McGhee Blvd, Caryville. The owner is Jatinderpal Singh. (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED-06/16/2026-6AM)
