BOE has special called Thu. meeting to discuss JES gym project

Meetings for the week begin on Tuesday evening with Town of Caryville meeting

JACKSBORO, TN (WLAF)- Leaders with the Town of Caryville begin a short week with a meeting this evening at six at the Municipal Building. Next year’s budget takes center stage.

There will be a  public hearing  concerning the budget for the Town of Caryville at the Caryville Municipal Building, 4839 Old Hwy 63, Caryville, Tennessee, on  Monday, June 8, 2026, 6pm.

The Campbell County Insurance and Personnel committee will meet at 5pm, Wed., at the courthouse.

There’s a special called meeting of the Campbell County Board of Education on Thursday, May 28, 2026, at 5pm, in the upper courtroom of the Jacksboro courthouse.  The purpose of the meeting is to discuss and take any necessary action regarding the Jacksboro Elementary School gymnasium project. The gym project began in the summer of 2024.

During the special called BOE meeting, the Financial Management System (FMS) committee will hold a meeting in the lower level courtroom also starting at 5pm.

The Campbell County Board of Education Policy Committee will meet on Tuesday, June 2, 2026, 4pm, at the Central Office.
