Steve Goins, age 70 of LaFollette

Steve Goins, age 70 of LaFollette, passed away on Tuesday, May 19, 2026, at Cumberland Village Nursing Home. He was born on November 6, 1955, to the late Oscar and Opal (Harber) Goins. Steve loved spending time with his family, friends, and his dog Daisy.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his son Christopher Lynn Wills and his brother Oscar Ray Goins.

Steve is survived by his sister Sharon Goins; special niece and nephews Samuel Franklin, Hank Lambert, Dakota Davis, Megan Lambert, Sara Franklin, Cheyanne, and Alex Story; special friends Herschal Williamson, Kim Richardson, and Tasha Farmer; and several other relatives and friends

Steves wishes were to be cremated.

The family would like to give a special thanks to the staff at Cumberland Village and Amedisys Hospice for the care they showed Steve.
