Tonya Louise Miller, age 52, of Jacksboro, passed away on May 13, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family.

Born on February 24, 1974, Tonya lived a life marked by strength, compassion, and an unwavering love for others. She proudly served for many years as a corrections officer with the Campbell County Sheriff’s Office, dedicating herself to serving her community.

Tonya’s greatest joy in life was her family—especially her daughters and grandchildren. She loved spending time with family and friends, but her grandchildren held a special place in her heart. She shared an especially close and special bond with her grandson, Major, a connection that will be treasured forever.

Tonya was of the Baptist faith. She found peace in journaling, being outdoors, and enjoying life’s simple moments. She never met a stranger and had a heart big enough for everyone. Anyone who knew Tonya knew she was never judgmental, always kind, and the type of person who would give the shirt off her back to help someone in need.

She is survived by her loving daughters, Amanda Marlow & husband Sammy, Felicia Massengill, as well as Gloria Massengill, who she loved as a daughter; her beloved grandchildren, Braylee Massengill, Maysi McGhee, Nixon Bolton, Major Massengill, Jovi Bolton, and Grayson Miller; her mother, Delores Miller; her brother, Charles Miller; her special friends, Steve Massengill, April Lloyd, and Dawn Williams; along with many other family members,dear friends, & co-workers who will forever cherish her memory.

Tonya was preceded in death by her father, David Miller, and her brother, Timmy Miller.

Arrangements are entrusted to Leach Family Funeral Home and will be announced later.

Tonya’s kindness, strength, and unconditional love will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
