Picnic planned for Veterans in place of July breakfast

Next Veterans Breakfasts are June 6 and June 13

JACKSBORO, TN (WLAF)- At Monday’s County Commission workshop, Campbell County Vice Mayor Randy Brown announced that the Veterans Breakfast will be held in Jacksboro on Saturday, June 6 at 8am, at the Jacksboro First Baptist Church. Pyro Shows is the sponsor.

On Saturday, June 13, the Veterans Breakfast at Jellico will be held at the Newcomb Baptist Church at9am and is sponsored by Builtwell Bank.

Brown said that in July, there will be a picnic instead of that month’s breakfast. The picnic will be held at Cove Lake State Park and will tie in with the America 250 celebration. (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED-05/13/2026-6AM)
