Frances Jean Roberts, age 76 of LaFollette

Frances Jean Roberts, age 76 of LaFollette, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, May 10, 2026, at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born on February 1, 1950, to the late Bobby and Mary Betty (Durham) Jewell. Frances loved her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and loved witnessing, providing care for others, and she would share whatever she had with other from Ohio to Tennessee. She was a member of House of Prayer and Praise and enjoyed cooking, baking, shopping, and loving her family.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother Darrell Wayne Jewell and her sister Shirley Senters.

Frances is survived by her loving husband of 58 years, Venice Leon Roberts Sr. of LaFollette; son Venice Leon Roberts Jr. and wife Alisa of Convoy, OH; daughter Hope Marie (Roberts) Hutten and husband Daniel of LaFollette and Sarah Elizabeth (Roberts) Carter and husband Brian of Hamilton, OH; 13 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; brother Harold Dean Jewell and wife Sabina of Georgetown, KY; sisters Dora Myleta (Jewell) Partin and husband Everett of Strunk, KY and JoAnne Michel of Dry Ridge, KY; several nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.

Visitation will be from 4:00-7:00 PM on Tuesday, May 12, 2026, at House of Prayer and Praise. Funeral service will be AT 11:00 AM on Wednesday, May 13, 2026, at House of Prayer and Praise with Pastor Mike Franklin, Rev. Bobby Franklin, and Rev. Ira (T.J.) Bolinger officiating. Interment to follow the funeral service at Powell Valley Cemetery.
