CAMPBELL COUNTY, TN (SPECIAL TO WLAF)- East Tennessee Fire Danger is HIGH for today, April 13, 2026. For Monday afternoon, relative humidity values are expected to range from 25-35%. Wind gusts will most likely be in the 15 to 25 mph range. Probabilistic for winds included in this report. Any rain that does file is predicted by the National Weather Service to be minimal, and likely will occur as virga  (Virga is precipitation—rain or snow—that evaporates or sublimes before reaching the ground, appearing as wispy, tentacle-like streaks hanging from clouds). Burn permits in the East Tennessee District are currently off for today, Monday April 13, 2026.
