Sonya Diane-Kate Bowling, age 3 of Oak Ridge

Sonya Diane-Kate Bowling, age 3 of Oak Ridge passed away on Sunday, March 29, 2026 at her home. She was born on December 1, 2022 to the loving parents Steven Duane and Keisha Monique Aslinger Bowling in Knoxville. Sonya was an adventurous and curious little girl. She loved to throw everything she could get her little hands on. Sonya loved going to school and was already learning sign language. Sonya and her big brother Christopher were inseparable. She touched many lives in her 3 years and will be dearly missed by so many.

She is preceded in death by grandfathers, Donnie Bowling, and Johnny Aslinger.

She is survived by: mother, Keisha Monique Aslinger Bowling; father, Steven Duane Bowling; brother, Christopher Aiden Bowling; grandmothers, Joyce Gilliam, Sandra Bowling; uncles, Daniel Bowling, and Michael Brock; great-grandmother, Effie Partin; and other family and friends.
