Tommy Allen Ward, age 61, of Caryville

Tommy Allen Ward, age 61, of Caryville, TN passed away in his home on Sunday afternoon, March 22, 2026, surrounded by loved ones after a long battle with illness.

Born on September 29, 1964, in LaFollette, Tennessee, to Henry C. Ward and Shirenia Phillips, Tommy was a one-of-a-kind man who touched many lives. He was known for his willingness to always help a friend in need and his wide range of passions, including fishing, riding motorcycles, classic rock, antique collecting, video games, and making homemade beef jerky. He loved being outdoors, befriended every dog he met, and was a talented musician who mastered many instruments, most notably his beloved guitar.

Tommy was preceded in death by his father, Henry C. Ward; his sister, Stella “Faye” Ward; and his brother, Charles “Chuck” Ward. He is survived by his mother, Shirenia Phillips; his stepmother, Ella Ward; his daughter, Lindsey Ward; his son, Linkoln Ward; and a multitude of nieces, nephews, and dear friends who formed his cherished community.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 28th, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Hatmaker Funeral Home, with a service immediately following.

He will be missed deeply by all who knew him.
