LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF)- The Food Life Services of Campbell County food pantry continues to provide free food for those who come by the pantry on Tuesdays from 9am until 1pm. Approximately 14 volunteers, coupled with community financial support from you, enable the FLS staff to keep the shelves stocked and the doors open at its East Chestnut Street location at the former East End School.

Food Life Services is an accredited 501(c)(3) organization, and your donation is tax deductible. Donations can be made payable to Food Life Services, P.O. Box 802, La Follette, 37766.

Approximately 49% of FLS benefactors come to the pantry in an emergency, visit a few months and do not return, according to FLS statistics. Stats also indicate that 21% of those who come to FLS are food insecure and visit monthly.

In 2025, FLS numbers increased by 100 families a week all the while the cost of food doubled in price for the same quantity of food. The FLS frozen food program necessitated the purchase of one additional commercial freezer.

Food Life Services is open Tuesdays from 9am until 1pm. Enter from the East Chestnut Street side of the former East La Follette School, now Homer Rutherford Learning Academy.

If you are not already registered, you must bring a form of identification, according to FLS officials.
