Temps warm to 25-degrees above average by Friday

LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF)- The average day time high for this time of year is 56-degrees here in Campbell County. Friday’s expected high of 80 will put us around 25-degrees above average, and that’s very warm for a March the 6th.

Expect a strong wind gust here or there today on this Wednesday as the high heads to 73. We’ll see more clouds than sun.

Record high temperatures are expected later this week and through the weekend. Showers and a few storms will return this weekend into early next week. The threat for severe storms stay well to our north and west. (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED-03/04/2026-6AM)
