WLAF has the live telecast of Campbell hosting Claiborne on Tuesday

JACKSBORO, TN (WLAF) – The Campbell County Cougars took on the Cumberland Gap Panthers Tuesday night at Brown-Archer Field. The Cougars dominated the mound with a strong outing from Rylan Rice: 5 innings pitched, 8 Ks, and 1 walk, giving up only 4 hits and 3 runs (2 earned). He was followed in relief by Riley Gunter, who pitched 2 innings with 4 Ks.

At the plate, Campbell County barreled some balls up, tallying 10 hits total with production up and down the lineup. Cooper McQuitty led the team with 3 RBIs, followed by Landon Notaro and Logan Below with 2 each. The Cougars were aggressive on the base paths all night, rallying for 3 runs in the second and 4 in the third. They were impressive all night, 1 through 9.

Campbell County will face the Gap again Wednesday away; first pitch is at 5:30.
