A light dusting of snow opens Monday with spots of black ice.

LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF)- Bitter wind chills and spots of black ice are the main challenges to open our final week of February. We’ll see snow flurries here and there on Monday as the high will top out around the freezing mark ahead of Monday night’s low of 21. Dangerously cold wind chills persist Monday night into early Tuesday.

Temperatures moderate on Tuesday and Wednesday. Cold rain develops Wednesday night. Expect showers on Thursday and Thursday night with Friday bringing the nicest day of the week with sun and a high near 60. Sixties are here Saturday and Sunday along with a slight chance of rain.
