John Henry Steakley, passed away on Wednesday, February 18, 2026. He attended West Walden Church of God and was a US Army Veteran. Preceded in death by wife: Linda Gross Steakley, sons: Clifford and Jeffery Steakley, parents: Jack and Cora Perkey Steakley, several brothers and sisters.

Daughter: Lisa and Daniel McNeeley

Son: Johnny and Elbert Steakley

Several Grandchildren

Brother: Hubert Steakley

Sisters: Mary Bell Rollow, Vickie Lloyd, Nany Sawyer, Diana Steakley

Several nieces and nephews

A Memorial Service will be held 10-11 AM Saturday, February 21, 2026 at Cross-Smith Chapel.
